He was predeceased by: his parents, James LaVar Washburn and Lois Ewell; his wife EllaMae Washburn (Bobbie); his son Mark John Washburn; his granddaughter Tiffany Marie Spencer; his brother Jimmy Washburn (Sharon); and his great grandchild Jeanette Webster-Faria.
He is survived by: his children, Art Washburn (Barbara), Eric Washburn (Simone), Sherry Spencer (Philip), Robert Washburn (Gloria) and Tara Washburn; and his sisters, Sharene Bennion (Brent) and Launa Bryner (Don). He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; his twelve great-grandchildren; his four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Alamo Chapel (49 South Purple Sage Ave, Alamo, NV 89001). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Nv City Cemetery.
