It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alven Washington Sr. (Henderson, Nevada), who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alven leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Alven may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Judi Winn (Toledo); his children, Alven II and Quichard Toy; his siblings, Doris of Southfield, MI, Joyce of Detroit, MI, Phyllis of Nashville, TN, Tamika of Charlottesville, VA, Tonya (Graylon) of Sterlington, MI and Monroe (Barb) of Southfield, MI; his brother-in-law Nate (Barbara) of Henderson, NV; and his aunts, Luiza Washington of Nashville, TN and May Lee (Will) of Grand Rapids, MI. He is also survived by 6 nephews, 1 favorite niece; 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild; as well as many other family and friends.
