He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hyrum Phillips and Florence Emma Rescorl; and his sister Florence "Flossy" Chilson. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Anne Defilippi; his children, E. Michael Phillips, Maria Stejskal (Radek) and Elizabeth Lesueur-Phillips; his siblings, Newton Phillips and Harriet Frohlich-Fry; his mother-in-law Margaret A. Defilippi; and his granddaughter Ava Stejskal. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
