He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Mello (Freman) and Manuel Mello; his stepfather Alva Case; his siblings, Joe Mello and Jeanie Mello; and his adoptive mother Nona McFarlane (Billy Erb).
He is survived by: his wife Saundra Mori; his children, Traci Ledesma and Scott Mello (Brandy); his grandchildren, Amber Dibben (Abe), Jacob Ledesma, Cole Mello and Mikala Ledesma; his great grandchild Dawson Dibben; and his siblings, Garnet Mello (Dennise), Mike Mello (Bretlyn), Ava Case and Roberta Williams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home (505 Rio Vista Dr, Fallon, NV 89406). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
