He was predeceased by: his parents, Miche Zakula and Josephine Drakulich Zakula; and his sister Dorothy Garrett. He is survived by: his siblings, Steve and Linda; his nephew Marko Palczewski (Nicole); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jade and Kerris; his son Ivan; his niece Dory Gibson (Trenton); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gus and Jameson.
