She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Medina and Beningna Medina (Freddie Mascarenas); her son Benjamin; her daughter-in-law Pat Mascarenas; her grandchildren, Gloria Romero and David Trujillo Jr.; and her siblings, Julia Romero, Lee Medina, Ida Cruz and Daisy Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Romero (Mickel) of Ely, NV, Tom Hays of Ely, NV and Becky Trujillo (David) of Questa, NM; her grandchildren, Mike Romero (Nicole), Fred Trujillo (Nica), Roberto Trujillo (Nadine), Anita Vance (Ryan) and Randie Lipski (Duane); and her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Karleigh Romero, Andrew Benjamin, Alexius Trujillo, Kenneth, Kristopher Trujillo, James, Mercedes Torrez, Rylan Vance, Brannyn, Tayler Vance, Randa Garvey (Ian) and Mary Ruiz (Kevin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
