It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Ivar Hansen of Ely, Nevada, born in Richfield, Utah, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Hansen and Effie Sorensen Hansen; his wife Carol; his siblings, Gordon, Howard, Richard "Dick" and Wm Kent; his son David Kent Hansen; and his great grandchildren, Patrick Douglas Higgins and Everest David Croft.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Emily Walker Griffith. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and in loving tribute to the life Dave lived, we request that you take a moment to read your patriarchal blessing and/or perform an act of service for somebody who lives in your community.
