He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard and Nathan Hale. He is survived by: his parents, Orville Hale and Evelyn Todd Hale; his wife Jeanette Hale; his children, Jacob Hale and Hannah Hale; his siblings, Tammy Curtis (Bob) and Jay Hale; his stepchildren, Nicholas Hileman, Alexis Yomata (Shun), Tasha Knapp (Jake) and Paulina Hileman; and his stepgrandsons, Jimi and Jesse Knapp.
