He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard DeVore and Alecta DeVore; his wife Mary Evelyn Tebben; and his siblings, Howard DeVore, Frances Alves and Lois Vinge.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Anne; his nephews, Robert V. DeVore, Jr., Mark S. DeVore, MD (Carol) and David A. DeVore (Crista); and his niece Victoria Ann DeVore (Jeff Rice). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
