He was predeceased by: his brothers, Gustavo Yruegas and Alvaro Yruegas. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Yruegas; his sons, Rodney Yruegas (Christina) and Steve Yruegas (Pamela); and his siblings, Dolores Trevino and Luis Yruegas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
