She is survived by: her husband Robert Hunter, Sr.; her mother Delores Shaw; her sister Joanne Shaw; her children, Anissa and Gabriel; her grandchildren, Makayah, Amaya, Isabella, Koso, Adelina, Khan and Niku; her father Wilfred Shaw; and her brothers, Samuel and Stanley.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Intertribal Higher Education Program at UNR or the Native American Alumni Chapter via The University of Nevada, Reno Foundation (https://www.unr.edu).
