She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Miles; her son John Bryan; her parents, Margaret Lafreniere of Sunnyvale, California and Ronald McDaniel; her stepmother Anita McDaniel of Klamath Falls, Oregon; her brother Patrick Lafreniere of Dayton; and her son-in-law Elton Davies of Carson City, Nevada..
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Givens (James Givens) of Bend, Oregon, Sharon Pinter of Martinez, California and Kathleen Hasbrouck (Glenn Hasbrouck) of Dayton, Nevada; her grandchildren, Karyn Pinter, Ryan Pinter of Martinez, California and Katherine Givens of Bend, Oregon; her brothers, Ken Lafreniere (Janeen Lafreniere) of Folsom, California and Robert Lafreniere (Vicki Lafreniere) of Sunnyvale, California; and her sister-in-law Shirley Lafreniere of Dayton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was a member and past-president of the Nevada Artists Association in Carson City, and an avid supporter of The Comstock Foundation and the Jazz & Beyond Festival.
