It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Luise Ruff (Carson City, Nevada), born in Lafayette, California, who passed away on April 13, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Gail had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Gail may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Hanson and Jane Hanson (Fritsch). She is survived by: her husband Alan "Scotty" Ruff of Walnut Creek; her children, Luise Davis (Ed) and Kurt (Bobbie); and her sister Phyllis Viola (Tony). She is also survived by two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walton's Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home (1281 N Roop St, Carson City, NV 89706).
