She was predeceased by: her husband Max E. Carter; her son Jerrylynn Carter; her parents, George Arthur Kay and Vera Edna Houghton Kay; and her siblings, Enid Vera Cook and Darwin Kay.
She is survived by: her daughter Dotty Hull of Caliente, Nevada; her grandchildren, Jerry Carter (Nikki) of Caliente, Nevada and Lisa Hayes (Russ) of Portland, Oregon; and her great grandchildren, Myranda Carter of Magnolia, Texas, Christina Hayes of Portland, Oregon, Caitlyn Beard (Steven) of Panaca, Nevada, Jared Carter (Natalie) of Cedar City, Utah and Connor Carter of Caliente, Nevada. She is also survived by Five great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
