She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyal Herman Thomas and Inez Cunningham Thomas; her brothers, Dennis and Dee Thomas; and her daughter Rhonda Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Peterson (Lisa) of Spring Creek, Nevada, Donna Gonzalez (Carey) of Las Vegas, Nevada, William Peterson (Sharon) of Fallon, Nevada, Lori Mesnard (David) of Henderson, Nevada, James "Mike" Peterson of Des Moines, Iowa, Fred "Jimmy" Peterson of Henderson, Nevada and Richard Peterson of Caliente, Nevada. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
