Melvin Wayne Bray Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Wayne Bray of Boulder City, Nevada, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tab Bray and Lucille McLain Bray (Lucy); and his son William. He is survived by: his wife Karen Haggerty Bray of Boulder City, NV; his children, Charlotte Read (Mark) of Jay and Gavin Wayne Bray (Maricruz) of Atlanta, Georgia; his stepchildren, Anna McKay (Danny) of Boulder City, NV and Chuck Butler (Diane) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandson Garrett Whisenant; his stepgrandson Van Lawson; and his great grandchild Alister Whisenant. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jay High School Band or the Southside Church of Christ, in honor of Mel's memory.
