She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sakutaro Myose and Tono Ikoma Myose; her spouse Thomas Martin Simon; her children, Wayne (Simon) and Jan Hubbard (Kenneth Mattingly); and her grandchildren, Will Hubbard, Sarah Mendoza, Kimberly Johnson, Danny Simon and Brie Wischnack. She was also cherished by 11 great grandchildren.
