He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alva Tougas and Enza Tougas; his wife Norma Tougas; his stepson Gale Eric Anderson (Stephanie); his sons, David Tougas Jr. (Lynette) and Tom Tougas (Shelly); and his siblings, Rawleigh Tougas, Patrick Tougas, Barnard Tougas (Adele) and Ellen Hanson (Dean). He was also cherished by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
