It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie L. Eggert Sr. of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Eggert and Mary Maestas Eggert; his wife Nora Gonzales Eggert; his siblings, Hazel Melton, Wilber Eggert and Herman Eggert; his son David Eggert; and his grandson Andrew Villarreal.
He is survived by: his children, Christine Grijalva (Bob) of Citrus Heights, CA., Teresa Alvarez (Ralph) of Cameron Park, CA., William L. Eggert Jr. (Roxanne) of Wagon Mound, NM., Ruth Porras (Robert) of Roy, NM and Kathleen Eggert (John) of Wagon Mound, NM.; and his brother Wayne Eggert (Carol). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
