He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Esquibel and Bertha Esquibel; his in-laws, Carlos and Pearl Wengert; his wife Marcella Marsha Esquibel; his brother Pete Esquibel Jr.; his granddaughter Alesia Vigil; his godson Carl Duran; and his cousin Frank Sandlin (Judy).
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Esquibel (Celina) and Bertha Esquibel (Ernie); his sister Edna Pearl Esquibel; his grandchildren, Karl Esquibel (Kayla) and Amor Romero (Gabriel); his great grandchildren, Karlo, Luciano and Kehlani Rose; and his grandchildren, Amber (Joe), Javi, Cali, Joselyn, Yolanda, Penelope and Sebastian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
