It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Dilia Chavez of Wagon Mound, New Mexico, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Chávez and Carolina Mondragón Chávez; and her sister Eileen Ortega. She is survived by: her siblings, Emilia Trujillo of Springer, NM, Teresa Tafoya of Wagon Mound, NM, Aurelia Montoya of Las Vegas, NM, Dora Durán (Bernie) of Las Vegas, NM, Margaret Quintana (Richard) of Las Vegas, NM and Joe Chávez (Caroline) of Wagon Mound, NM.. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins in addition to many friends.
