She was predeceased by: her sons, Vincent "Bacho" (Norma) and Ronnie Encinias; her sons-in-law, Bobby Maldonado, Leroy Lucero and Stanley Brown; her siblings, Samuel Esquibel (Sophia) and Teresina Roper; her brother-in-law Jack Roper; and her parents, Eliseo Esquibel and Besentita Manchego.
She is survived by: her children, Louie Encinias Jr. (Martina), Ramona Maldonado, Rita Lucero and Elizabeth Brown. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
