He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Alarcon and Paula Olivas; his brothers, Roberto and Ernesto Alarcon; and his grandson Everardo Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Josefina Madrid Alarcon; his children, Jorge (Patricia Alarcon), Everardo Alarcon (Sandra Reyes), Ruben (Yolanda Alarcon), Elio Alarcon and Geri Savedra; his grandchildren, Mara, Ramon, Jorge, Ashley, Andres, Michelle, Carlos, Oliva, Angel and Crystal; and his great grandchildren, Mateo Castaneda, Dario, Maya Dominguez, Jose Antonio Flores, Amelia Rae Alarcon, Jorge Isaias Alarcon and Leah Alarcon.
