He was predeceased by: his parents, Moises Esquibel and Dolores Espinosa; his grandparents, Bernardo, Manuela Espinosa, Antonio and Aurora Esquibel; his sister Angie Arguello; his half-sister Beatrice Martinez; and his stepbrother Louis Esquibel.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Esquibel-Cracium (Freddy) of Littleton, CO, Angelica Gaintner (Gary) of Tijeras, NM and Mark Esquibel (Diana) of Durango, CO; his sister Mary Ann Aragon of Albuquerque; the mother of his children Grace Roybal of Fort Sumner; his grandchildren, Shelbie DiGiacomo (Casey), Adrianna Siko (John), Aolani Esquibel (Matthew), Garrett Gaintner, Everett Gaintner, Maleko Esquibel and Jesse James Esquibel; his great grandchildren, Ayden DiGiacomo, Paige DiGiacomo, Mason Johnson, Dakota Carver and Anthony Siko; and also, Dolores Wood, Phillip Hoehne and Nancy Ann Flores. He is also survived by three cousins.
