She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alva Sapp and Fannie Sapp; her child Beverly Anderson August; her grandsons, Jeff and Bryan; her great grandchildren, Sienna, Ashton and Aiden; her stepdaughter Sherry; her sons, Michael and Victor; and her granddaughter Elizabeth. She was also cherished by child, she had two sisters and one brother.
