He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilario Maes and Maria Maes (Lueras); and his siblings, Juanita Delgado, Anastacia Maes and Hilario Maes Jr. (Elvira Nuñez Maes).
He is survived by: his children, Cecilia Beltran (Carlos), Esther Maes, Jesusita Maes, Robert Garcia (Margaret) and Juan Maes (Virginia). He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren.
