She was predeceased by: her husband Troy Staggs; her parents, John Elton Hodges and Inez Evelyn Hodges (Finley); her son-in-law Allen Lee Hirrill; and her siblings, Patsy Carpenter, Billy Jo Hodges and Herbert Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Wyona Brazel of Capitan, NM, Judy Kay Hirrill of Tularosa, NM and Garland Ray Staggs (Zelda) of Tularosa, NM; her grandsons, Chris Hirrill (Brandy) of Tularosa, NM, Nolan Armstrong of Capitan, NM and Jason Staggs (Gretchen) of Tularosa, NM; and her sister Dorothy Reed of Clovis, NM.
