It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margie Lee Barnett of Tucumcari, New Mexico, born in Hollis, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Joe Barnett (Carol), Rhonda Whitzel and Donnie Barnett; and her grandchildren, Kylee Calbert (Steven) and Shawn Barnett.

“Margie was the most wonderful, beautiful lady!!! I always enjoyed visiting with her when she did my hair. I continue to admire her for all the work she did at the Salon, raising her children and active in the Community. Heaven is blessed today. Without any doubt numerous people have rushed to visit her since she is in Heaven. For her children, each of you were blessed with one woman who managed a business, loved her children deeply and was so very independent.”
