He was predeceased by: his son Larry; and his daughter-in-law Sharon McGuin. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Wyla Green and Bruce Green of Rye, Colorado; his daughter-in-law Kathleen Green; his granddaughter Claire Green of Albuquerque; and his sister Ernie Lee Miller of La Luz. He is also survived by two nephews and many cousins.
