She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Stanley Adams and Clara Odessa Adams; her husband James Mack Riggs; and her sisters, Yvoone Gathings, Billie Mae Armstrong and Jacqueline Adams.

She is survived by: her siblings, Stanley Adams and Susie Perry; her nieces and nephews, James Mack Riggs (Susie), Sherry Mi Linda Woronuk (Bryan), Sonyia Melody Gershon (Steve) and Jacqueline De Ann Randall (Chris); and her grandchildren, Christy (David), James Mack (Emily), Becky (Neal), Nelson (Laurie), Jamie (Meryl), Jesse (Kathy), Jessica (Justin), Johnny (Amy), Aspyn and Chole Randall.
