He is survived by: his daughters, Lydia Strand (Jared) and April Rutzen; his granddaughters, Theadosia Carter (Barry) and Sophie Weaver; his great grandchildren, Frederic and Lana; his brother Steve Rutzen (Janelle); his nieces, Kayla and Carrie; and his uncle George Pitman.
