He was predeceased by: his parents, Apolonio Calbert and Maria Calbert; his siblings, Reyes Calbert, Miguel Calbert and Lorenzo Calbert; his niece Roseann Mendez; and his nephews, Daniel Lopez, Joseph Gallegos and Paul Calbert.

He is survived by: his children, Janice Martinez (Isaac), Renee Baca (Robert) and Marc Calbert (Catalina); his grandchildren, Ashley, Oscar, Italia, Illianna and Jayden; and his siblings, Julia Calbert, Ricardo Calbert, Martin Calbert and Gloria Lopez.
