She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Arias and Nellie Arias; her nephew Steven Muñoz; and her brother-in-law Woody Wampler (Michael Ousley). She is survived by: her daughters, Amber Ousley (Arturo Alcantar) and Samantha Hyslop (Josh); her grandchildren, Taylor Lopez, Tayden Hyslop, Joshua Hyslop, Melanie Lisabelle, McKenzie Garcia, Jaelyn Gray, Mason Hyslop and Avery Hyslop; her sisters, JoAnn Smith Sylvia Wampler (Robert Trujillo), Betty Muñoz (Ramon) and Nancy Macias (Ignacio); her nieces and nephews, Shelley Freundner (Erich), Tina Garcia (Donnie), Marc Wampler (Julie), Michael Wampler (Chrissy), Brandi Varnado (Larry), Agustin Muñoz and Miranda Wampler; her uncle Jose Arias; her mother-in-law Mary Sweet Ousley; her cousin Shannon Martinez; and her close friend Mercy Lopez. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, family members, and friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (301 W High St, Tucumcari, NM 88401). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at 4161 Cemetery Rd, Tucumcari, NM 88401.
