He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Roberts and Lois Roberts (Jones); his uncle Alton "Unk" Jones; and his aunt Ora Lee. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Roberts; and his children, Alicia Martinez, Mary Sabin (Chris A.), Samuel Martinez, Jr., Al Martinez (Jeff Huebner) and Rosa M. Martinez. He is also survived by 2 sisters; 1 nephew; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
