He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Earl Ritch, Sr. and Florence Gladys Hurst Ritch; his siblings, Atha Cossell, Agnes Allbright Ullrich, Alta Gillaspie and Charles Earl, Jr.; and his stepdaughter Susan Gants.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Thompson Gants Ritch; his stepchildren, David Gants, Michael Gants (Amy) and Jody Allen (Steve); and his stepgrandson Jake Allen.
