He was predeceased by: his parents, Cruz Araiza and Aurelia Araiza (Gomez); his brothers, Juan Araiza of California and Jose Araiza of California; and his wife Teresa Martinez Araiza.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mercedes Guillen and Felicitas Martinez; his wife Isidra; and his children, Aracely, Antonio, Oswaldo and Dulce. He is also survived by his three daughters and 2 sons from his marriage to Teresa – Martha Romero, Teresa Oblinger, Consuelo (Daniel) Griego, Ric (Renee) Araiza and Diego (Lucy) Araiza; 15/grandchildren; and 12/great-grandchildren.
