He is survived by: his wife Ann Welborn; his son Ray Welborn; and his nieces and nephews, Lezlie Ziegenfuss (Joe) of Las Cruces, NM, Darlene Gutzwiler (Phil) of Spokane, WA, Linda Ureeland (David) of Portsmouth, VA, Craig Cole (Suzie) of Lordsburg, NM and Grady Lee Arnold of Phoenix, AZ..
