With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Robert Walker (Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico), who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy James Robert leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though James Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace H. Walker and Lena Walker (Woolf); and his parents-in-law, Ernest T. Shelton and Ida Ruth Shelton (Freeman). He is survived by: his wife La Vern Walker (Shelton); and his sister Kim Lucero (Walker).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Truth (220 N Broadway St, Truth or Consequences, NM 87901).
