It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie Elizabeth Brandt Markel (Truth Or Consequences, New Mexico), born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Glenn Allen Sr.; her brothers, Glenn Allen Jr., Gregory Allen and Griffin Allen; and her former husband Mark Brandt.
She is survived by: her husband John Markel; her mother Joyce Allen; her children, Marlesa Brandt, Marcus Brandt (Samantha) and Mandie Baca (Steven); her brothers, Gary Allen (April), Gordon Allen and Gavin Allen; her sister-in-law Paula Allen; her nephew Greg Jr.; her niece Emily; and her grandchildren, Spencer, Kobee and Randee Grace. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.
