She was predeceased by: her parents, Monford Harrison Davis and Edna Mae Davis (Brown); her husband Henry Joseph Mathews; her children, James Albert Davis and Helen Faye Jenkins; and her brothers, Joseph, Hills, Warren, Ronald and Clarence.

She is survived by: her sister Dellamae Mellott. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
