He was predeceased by: his parents, Bonnie Gower and Florence Gower (Dreier); his wife Roberta Riester; and his siblings, Robert, Johnny Reeves and Dorothy E. Reeves-Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Bibiana Gower, David Gower, Johnny Gower and William Gower. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, as well as numerous friends.
