He was predeceased by: his parents, John Christian and Wilhelmina Juliana Kunz (Kamilli); and his siblings, John William Kunz, Edmund Earl Kunz and Martha Magdalene Crouse.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Carol Kunz (Gwynne); his children, Julianna Mae Kunz and Christopher Thomas Kunz; his grandsons, Ryne Alexander, Jody Parker and Edison Marshall Cerra of Alamogordo, NM; his brother Richard Erwin Kunz (Laura Plath) of Poulsbo, WA.; and also Sarah Marie Cerra (John).
