She is survived by: her husband Robert T. Plec; and her children, Matthew and Emily. She is also survived by her husband and children, her two sisters and sisters-in-law, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

“It is October 4th and I just read of Carol's death. I am so shocked and saddened. She was SO nice and SO talented. I remember Winkler and I were invited to a big anniversary party for her and Robert a number of years ago where we met some of the 'kids.' So much fun. I am so sorry. She was a treasure to all, including the entire arts community.”
