He was predeceased by: his father Julian Torrez; his grandparents, Ernesto, Eufemia Chavira, Esteban and Margarita Torrez; his aunt Ata Chavira; and his nephew Jay "Juan Estevan" Torrez.

He is survived by: his mother Dolores Torrez; his siblings, Juan "Johnny", Leroy Torrez (Diana), Magdalene Perea and Famie Trujillo (Yolanda Hernandez); and his close friends, Tino Jiron and Gabriel Perea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
