He was predeceased by: his parents, Nolberto and Felicitas; and his siblings, Horacio, Rosaline, Arlen and Russell Romero.

He is survived by: his wife Glynell; his children, Sabrina Johnson, Horacio Romero (Kathryn) and Alisha Moore (Kyle); his siblings, Danny (Valerie), Nolbert (Janet), Sylvia Sanchez (Andy), Lillian and Jeanette; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Gage, Horacio, Russell, Sally and Cheyenne.

In remembrance of Steve donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
