It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Candelario Padilla (Tome, New Mexico), who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Padilla and Pablita Padilla (Griego); his son Joseph Padilla (Celia Sanchez); his brothers, Tony and Abenicio Padilla; and his nephews, Joseph Padilla, James and Virgil Sanchez.
He is survived by: his wife Eloisa Padilla; his children, Randy Padilla (Janet), Lisa Garcia (Nathan) and Karen Martin (Shannon); his grandchildren, Marcus Padilla (Jacque), Veronica Maldonado (Eric), Amber Garcia, Jonathan Garcia and Dakota Martin; his great grandchildren, Marcus Gum-Padilla, Ella Garcia, Mason Maldonado and Miriam Padilla; and his sister Kate Jaramillo. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
