He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cecil Cooper and Cleota Hamner Cooper; his former wife Joyce McKnight; his wife Mary Jones; and his siblings, Ruby Lois Cooper, Albert O. Cooper and Jerry Cooper. He is also survived by 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
