She was predeceased by: her parents, George McBride and Mary McBride (Terrill); and her husband Jay Shanklin. She is survived by: her children, Jenifer Walker-Good (Steve Good) and Liza Walker-McBride (Jeff Grubb); her grandchildren, Emma Good (Patrick Wall) and Bradley Good; and also Merrill B. Walker, Jr..
