He is survived by: his wife Julia Benavidez; his sisters, Inez Sena (Frank) and Cordelia Benavidez; his uncle Julian Nieto; his aunt Nellie Griego; his daughters, Yvonne Benavidez and Frances Romero (Garrett); his grandchildren, Francine Romero, Eric, Xavier Romero, Angelica and Shawn Romero; his great grandchildren, Izaiah, Xaviers, Jeremiah, Lucas and Ezekiel; his sister-in-law Jennie Martinez; and his niece Celine (Jose).
