Yolanda left this world on April 3, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her brother David Hernandez; her grandson Isaac Randy Zarate; and her nephew Antonio Hernandez Dominguez. She is survived by: her husband Perfecto Martinez; and her children, David Zarate, Rene Zarate, Randy Zarate, Gavino Zarate, Edward Martinez, Rebecca Zarate Garcia and Teresa Zarate. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home (1106 N Main St, Lovington, NM 88260). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (500 S Ave A, Lovington, NM 88260). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tatum Cemetery.
